About Me

I started weight training in 2009, picking up basic training principles and workouts from bodybuilding websites, intending to feel and look stronger and fitter. Although I was clueless about what I was doing with no real workout plan, I loved the way training made me feel, I started to become both physically and mentally stronger. Despite my initial cluelessness and lack of a structured plan, I quickly experienced the empowering effects of training, both physically and mentally. After nearly a year of self-guided progress, I realised I needed expert guidance to continue to get results. So I hired Damon Hayhow in October 2010 at his coaching studio Biologic Labs, in Brisbane Qld Australia.

It was there that I learned how to deadlift for the first time, and was given a nutrition plan that was so much higher in calories than I was used to. It was an incredible shift in the approach to training and nutrition that I was exposed to - and it worked. In just three months I achieved significant gains in strength and changed my body composition significantly, feeling better than ever before. I was hooked.

The whole process dramatically boosted my confidence, strengthened my mind, and taught me a lot about discipline and work ethic, which had a huge postive impact on my professional and personal life. The knowledge I gained throughout this experience was truely life-changing. I wanted to set myself bigger strength and body composition goals so I competed in the 2011 QLD IFBB Figure, where I placed 2nd in Novice, then competed in the 2012 Qld GPC “Push/Pull” Powerlifting Competition, setting a national record in the Open Women’s bench press and deadlift.

Shortly after this success, I was given the opportunity to become a coach myself. So I happily left my office job behind to become Australia’s first female certified Recomp Coach, working at Biologic Labs. To achieve this, I earned both the ASCA Strength Coach accreditation and the ISSN Sports Nutritionist certification, plus many hours of experience working alongside Damon Hayhow as my mentor.

From 2013 to early 2023 I was part of the Recomp HQ team where I had the privilege of coaching many clients to achieve outstanding body recomposition results. During this time, I successfully guided several clients to compete and place in the top 3 in national powerlifting competitions.

Since May 2023, I have proudly operated my own business on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia, offering coaching services both online and face to face. It has been an honour to help hundreds of clients turn their dreams of a stronger, healthier body and lifestyle into a reality. I am passionate about helping people achieve life-changing results through structured training and nutrition - just as I did myself - and I look forward to helping you if you choose me as your coach.
